Mmm… who can resist an ooey-gooey, chewy donut!? These sweet treats may come in all different shapes, sizes, fillings and flavours, but one thing stays consistent - they never fail to put a smile on my face!
That’s why I’ve caked not one, not two, but FOUR Mega Cakes inspired by my FAVE donut flavours - Sprinkle, Strawberry Jelly, Boston Crème and Salted Caramel! Say HELLO to rich chocolate cake layers, sandwiched between delicious Italian Meringue buttercream and melt-in-your-mouth donuts. I even decorated each cake by using even MORE donuts and fun flavours that reflect the donuts hidden inside! YUM!
Note: For the purpose of this recipe, I’ll be outlining how I decorated each of my Donut Mega cakes, but truthfully, these cakes are just SO easy and fun to make, I’d encourage you to use whichever donuts and flavours YOU like most and decorate accordingly! Go (DO)nuts!
