Preparation

Make Your Treats

Divide 2 recipes of Rice Krispies treats into each of your 12” and 10” square pans. Pack them in firmly, and do this one recipe at a time so they are easier to work with. Repeat with 1 recipe into each of your 6” square pans

Remove and Stack

Run a spatula along the edges of your pans to help remove your treats. Stack your 2 6” squares on top of one another, adhering with royal icing. Repeat with your 10” squares.

Building Up

Stack your 6” tier on top of your 10” tier, securing with more royal icing.

Decorative Border

Cut a decorative border out of fondant, and attach to the tops of your tiers, standing up with piping gel.

Windows & Doors

Emboss a rectangle of fondant with a wood grain embossing mat and add a handle with piping gel. Cut windows from different colors of fondant in 2 different sizes and attach together with piping gel. Attach to your cake in the appropriate places using piping gel to adhere.

Towers

Remove your 12” Rice Krispie Treat from its pan, and with a ruler and chef’s knife cut 4 6” long rectangles, and 4 7” long rectangles. Add more decorative trim fondant to the tops, and cut more windows and attach. Glue to the corners of your tiers, adhering with royal icing

Top It Off

Cut your remaining Rice Krispie Treats into triangles to attach to the tops of your towers with royal icing. Add gumballs to the tops with more royal icing

Sprinkled

Cut your remaining Rice Krispie Treats into triangles to attach to the tops of your towers with royal icing. Add gumballs to the tops with more royal icing
