Warning: this recipe will make your kitchen smell irresistible. So if youre planning on whipping up a batch of my spiced nuts as a component for a cake (like my Pecan Pie Mega Cake and Sweet Potato Casserole Cake), you might want to double the recipe to have a bowl just for snacking. Your family will thank you!

1 ¼ cups Roasted Pecans (you can use walnuts if you prefer!)
    3 Tbsp Unsalted Butter
    ⅓ cup Brown Sugar
    2 Tbsp Cinnamon

    YIELD

    • 1 ¼ cups of roasted spiced nuts

    PREP TIME

    BAKING TIME

    • 10 minutes

    PAIRINGS

    • Sweet Potato Cake and Whole Egg Eggnog Buttercream

    TIPS

    • Keep a close eye on the oven because nuts are easy to burn! I love these on cakes or chopped up in between layers. They’re also great on ice cream or even on a cheese platter! You can make these roasted spiced nuts ahead of time and keep them in an airtight container.

    Item Name: Availability:
    Medium sized heavy bottom pot
    Wooden spoon
Baking tray, lined with parchment or silicon mat

    Make It Melty

Melt butter and sugar in a pot over medium heat.

    Go Nuts!

Add the roasted nuts and stir until coated.

    Add Cinnamon

Add the cinnamon and stir until combined.

    Get It Crunchy

Pour onto a baking tray lined with parchment paper or a silicone mat. Bake at 350F for 10 minutes.

TIP: Allow to cool completely before handling!

    Congratulations!
