    Making cream cheese frosting is so easy! Like four steps easy. And, cream cheese is so good to pair with deep, and rich cakes - like my Red Velvet, or Orange Velvet cakes!

    • 1 cup cream cheese, room temperature
    •  1 teaspoon Vanilla
    • 1/2  cup unsalted butter, room temperature
    • 1 lb Icing Sugar


    NOTES

    * This recipe yields 1lb and 10oz of frosting - enough to frost one 9x13" cake or two 8" round cakes.

    Electric or Stand Mixer
    Mixing Bowls
    Measuring Cups & Spoons

    Beat Cream Cheese

    Beat cream cheese and vanilla in the bowl of an electric mixer until smooth, about 3 minutes. 


    Add Butter

    Add your butter and continue to beat another 2 minutes. 


    Add Icing Sugar

    Add icing sugar at low speed, until incorporated. 


    Add Vanilla

    Add vanilla and beat your icing for 2 minutes at high speed.
