    Yo's Chocolate Donut Glaze

Let's get real. When you open up a box of donuts (orGiant Donut Cakes!), that chocolate glazed donut is always calling your name. No matter how gorgeous the other donuts look, that chocolate glaze is so rich, and scrumptious looking. The call of chocolate is strong!

    • 3/4 Cup Icing Sugar
    • 2 Tablespoons Dutch Process Cocoa Powder
    • 1/4 Cup Whipping Cream

    Sieve
    Bowl
    Whisk

    Sift Sugar and Cocoa

Sift the icing sugar and cocoa into a bowl.

    Heat Whipping Cream

Heat the whipping cream gently over low heat or in the microwave. Add cream to the icing sugar, whisking gently.

    Adjust Consistency

Adjust the consistency of your glaze by adding more icing sugar to thicken it, or more warm cream to thin.

    Cover with Plastic Wrap

Keep your glaze covered with plastic wrap directly on top, or with a damp clean towel over the bowl.

    Congratulations!
