This vanilla frosting recipe is my go-to, when I'm not using buttercream! Its sweet, fluffy consistency makes for a delicious addition to any cake! This is also a great frosting for any How To Cake It fans who dont have a stand mixer.
Beat butter and vanilla until smooth.
Add half of your icing sugar and blend on low.
Add whipping cream and continue to blend. Incorporate the remaining icing sugar, and beat for another 1 - 2 minutes.
