This vanilla frosting recipe is my go-to, when I'm not using buttercream! Its sweet, fluffy consistency makes for a delicious addition to any cake! This is also a great frosting for any How To Cake It fans who dont have a stand mixer.

  • ½  cup Unsalted Butter, room temperature 
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
  • 3 cups Icing Sugar
  • 3 tablespoons Whipping Cream

Watch It!

  • Beat butter and vanilla until smooth.

  • Add half of your icing sugar and blend on low. 

  • Add whipping cream and continue to blend. Incorporate the remaining icing sugar, and beat for another 1 - 2 minutes.
