    Shortbread Cookies

    Nothing SHORT of delicious!

Shortbread cookies are one of the most classic cookies ever and you really can’t go wrong with them! They’re perfect for any holiday, just on their own, or even stacked up in a cake like our Giant Twix Cake!

    • Instructions

1 ⅓ cup unsalted butter, room temperature

    ¾ cup granulated sugar

    3 cups flour

    1 tsp salt

    Item Name: Availability:
    9 x 13" rectangular cake pan
Parchment Paper Add to Cart -
    Large Knife
    Fork

    Butter and Sugar

Cream your butter and sugar together in a bowl.

    Mix It Up!

In another bowl, mix your salt and flour together. Mix your flour and salt in with your butter mixture then mix together.

    Cookie Sheet

Press the cookie crumbs into a 9x13” rectangular pan lined with parchment paper (bottom and sides) until it is super packed.

    Squares

Take a ruler and a sharp paring knife to measure and mark out even squares then take a fork and poke holes into each square - this will allow the air to release.

    Bake Your Cookies

Bake your cookies for 30 minute at 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

    Ready to Eat!

Once your cookies are out of the oven and still relatively warm, take a cake board cut to the size of your pan then place it on top of the cookie sheet with a non stick mat and another smaller pan, then carefully flip the cookies out. Remove the parchment paper and flip it right side up so that you see the fork markings. Use a sharp chef’s knife to cut along the lines so you have your cookie squares. Now enjoy!

    Congratulations!
