These Brownies are out of this World! This Cosmic Brownies recipe by Jyoti (@thepurplecupcake_) will take you to the moon and back! Inspired by the school snack fave, these delicious brownies are super easy to make and absolutely delicious.

Brownies

  • 85g unsalted butter, melted
  • 185g granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 65g flour
  • 50g cocoa
  • pinch of salt
  • 2-3 tbsp milk
  • Bit chips

Ganache

  • 100g dark chocolate
  • 100g milk chocolate
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

Watch It!

  • Preheat your oven to 325 degrees and line a 9x9” pan with parchment paper.

  • In the bowl of a stand mixer, combine melted butter and sugar - mixing with the whisk attachment until combined and light in color.

  • Add in the egg and continue to mix until the mixture is pale and light. 

  • Add the cocoa, flour, and salt mixing until just combined. Add milk and vanilla and whisk until the batter is slightly looser, and well combined

  • Spread the batter into your prepared pan, and bake for 20-25 minutes. Remove from oven to cool.

  • To make ganache, warm 1/2 cup of heavy cream, and pour it over chocolate. Let sit for 5 minutes.

  • Gently whisk the cream and chocolate together until combined.

  • Once brownies have cooled, pour ganache on top and spread with an offset spatula.

  • Sprinkle bit chips over the top and place brownies in the fridge for 1-2 hours.

  • Once set, cut brownies with a warm knife, cleaning the blade between each cut.
