What do you get when you add sprinkles and white chocolate goodness to classic blondies? The yummiest party treats ever (they turn everything into a celebration!)
Jyoti (@thepurplecupcake_)'s Birthday Cake Blondies transform classic blondies into extra fun treats with white chocolate, sprinkles and even Oreos added to the mix! They're topped off with a deliciously rich vanilla bean buttercream, confetti cake chunks, and a sweet white chocolate ganache drizzle (are you drooling yet? ;))
Blondies
Preheat your oven to 325 F and line a square 8 x 8 baking pan with parchment.
Combine the brown sugar and butter in your stand mixer, and mix until light and fluffy.
Add egg and vanilla, and continue mixing until the mixture lightens further.
Add flour, baking soda, corn starch, and salt, and mix thoroughly. Then mix for another 2-3 minutes. It’s important to get a good mix so ensure a nice, chewy blondie.
To your batter, add white chocolate, sprinkles, and Oreos. Give them a good mix to combine and then pop into your lined baking pan.
Smooth out with an off-set spatula and bake for 25 minutes. If they need more time, add another 5 minutes.
Let them cool, top with vanilla bean buttercream, confetti cake chunks, and white chocolate ganache.
Set in freezer for 30 minutes. Remove from pan and cut into squares
