Generic piping bags are usually made with cake decorating and frosting in mind, so these tipless bags are a much better option for working with royal icing.
One of the most universal tools, it can help you push icing around, perfect your designs, and easily remove (dried) mistakes. A toothpick can also be used in a pinch, but if you’re doing a lot of cookie decorating it’s probably worth investing in one of these.
