This class is best suited to advanced cookie decorators, who are interesting in learning about decorating and selling cookies, but we welcome any skill level to join! Megan will guide you through the process step-by-step
Where is the class recording being held?
On Facebook! Once you purchase the class you'll be provided with a link and password to join the private Facebook group where you'll find your workbook, prep videos, and have access to your teacher to ask any questions you may have. Not to mention a community of people who are just as passionate as you are!
What ingredients will I need to participate?
You’ll need classic cookie ingredients (butter, sugar, flour, etc.) icing sugar, meringue powder, corn syrup, and gel food coloring. For this class you'll need to come prepared with your cookies made and cooled, and royal icing bagged, and pre-class decorating steps complete.
What equipment do I need to participate?
Along with an Internet connection you’ll need a stand mixer, cookie sheets, parchment paper, and tipless piping bags. There are NO cookie cutters required for this class- you'll be provided with templates to hand cut your cookies, and a Megan will guide you through that process
Will I be able to ask questions in the Facebook group even though the class has already happened?
Absolutely! Ask all your burning questions in the Facebook group and a member of our team will answer! Be sure to tag the instructor or How To Cake It in your post so we are notified of the question!
