I took a class last night! ... I joined a @howtocakeit class with @sweetjosiebakes to make a flower crown cake. I went with my own color scheme , but found invaluable information from Josie on how to get vivid hues with Swiss Meringue Buttercream. My mind was blown! I had no clue as to why my colors were always dull or how to resolve it. I'm so excited to take that knowledge with me into future projects!

Icing consistency continues to be a struggle, especially with high humidity. but I am learning SO MUCH from Megan Warne's virtual classes and I can see my progress with each attempt. I really appreciate the time she takes to share her skills and knowledge each week. I just wish I had more free time to practice!Â
