Liz Shim is the owner of Eat Cake Be Merry and a bona fide buttercream flower queen! A graduate of Le Cordon Bleu at the California Culinary Academy, she founded Eat Cake Be Merry in 2009 and spent 10 years making custom cakes for clients in NYC before relocating to Houston, TX.Liz has appeared on television shows, has her works published in books and has been featured in numerous magazines such as People, Money, Brides, The Knot and Better Home and Gardens.

Great success! I've made floral cupcakes before and I still learned so much. New techniques, new flowers...and not to fill my pipinh bag so much 😅 Thank you for such an easy to follow tutorial! My mind was blown that you didn't have to use to many bowls to mix colours!

What ingredients do I need to participate?
You’ll need classic cupcake and buttercream ingredients (butter, sugar, flour, etc.) and gel food coloring. . Please come to the livestream with your cupcakes already baked, and buttercream already made so you’re ready to start decorating! You will also receive detailed instructions after you register.
What equipment do I need to participate?
Along with an Internet connection you’ll need piping tips, and piping bags
Will I be able to ask questions during the tutorial?
Absolutely! Ask all your burning buttercream flower questions and Liz will answer!
