Rice Krispie Treats are the ultimate ooey gooey treat. This recipe is simple enough that you can whip them up quickly on a rainy day, or when it's super hot out and you want a sweet treat without turning on the oven. Give them a funfetti twist by using the directions in my Mega Funfetti Cake recipe! 



Note: This recipe makes two 8" round pans or one 8" square pan of treats.


Rice Krispie Treats! 

Ingredients & Tools You Will Need:

1/4 cup Unsalted Butter

1 400g package of Mini Marshmallows

1 teaspoon Vanilla

6 cups Rice Krispies

Wooden Spoon

Cake pans (of desired size) lined with parchment paper and greased on the sides


Prepare your pans by greasing and lining with parchment. Set aside.

Melt your butter in a pot over medium high heat. Add your mini marshmallows and stir, allowing the marshmallows to melt slowly. When they’re almost completely melted (you should still see a few lumps), remove the pot from heat and add vanilla while stirring quickly. Pour this mixture over your rice krispies and mix.

Pour your rice krispie mix into your prepared pans, press down to condense. Allow to set in pans at room temperature.
